Money Marketing reports on a survey from Watson Wyatt about the benefits of salary sacrifice for employers that sponsor a pension scheme for their employees. Frankly, I’m surprised that salary sacrifice isn’t more popular – it’s a ‘no-brainer’ when done properly, with employee consultation and all of the issues brought out into the open and every advantage and disadvantage discussed. Co-incidentally, we had a question about this on our Scheme Member Forum last week and I responded by pointing out several excellent articles and web pages with informative material about the subject.
