MP cites reasons for pension decline 
 
When I read this article by John Redwood MP, I paused at the sentence: ‘The UK government set in train three different policies which have combined to undermine final salary pensions.’ I’d a good idea what one of the three reasons would be (his first), had an educated guess at another (the third) but was surprised by what Mr Redwood had used as his second reason.
 
I’m not saying he is wrong by any means and in fact, I’d have used his second point as one in a long list of reasons why final salary schemes are in decline. What I did find though, was that the added comments by members of the public (presumably) were generally very well informed and worthy of a read.
