Our benefit system isn’t the easiest in the world to understand or navigate through. Even with internet-based tools and guides, it must seem to many pensioners that you need near degree level aptitude to fathom out whether you’re entitled to claim or not.
The trouble is no matter how much information you provide, there is always someone that poses a question you have never thought about – so I’m surprised more Government departmental websites such as The Pension Service don’t provide a forum area and build up a decent FAQ section to help pensioners.
