Pension conundrum: higher inflation and low interest rates?
 
A couple of articles about inflation and interest rates caught my attention this morning. On the one hand, a senior economist has predicted low interest rates may be a feature for years to come. On the other hand, what happens if inflation rears its head again, which is entirely possible, as we move out of recession? Usually significant leaps in inflation follow a tumultuous event but will history mark down the ‘credit crunch’ as such? See:
