Pension priorities change
 
Capita Hartshead has produced its 16th annual pensions administration survey. I know, I bet you’ve begun to switch off already but bear with me: this kind of research often produces some great statistics. The survey looks at over 220 schemes with a total of more than 6 million members and funds of around £220 billion.
 
What I found interesting in this article about the report is that it reveals what I think is a strange change in trustee priorities since the previous survey was issued just over a year ago. Last year’s survey top of trustees priorities was regular trustee meetings. This was followed by trustee training and in third place regular review of the statement of investment principles. None of those now feature in this year’s top three.
