What is the top frustration shared by pension trustees?
 
In today’s news, there are three inter-connected articles linked to investment performance which interest me.
 
Why? Well I recently attended a seminar with around 100 pension scheme trustees, advisers and other pension professionals. One of the questions posed to the audience was to list the factors/concerns that trustees felt were important to them.
 
The top concern was that it takes too long to make decisions. This was followed by the response that decisions, once made, then took too long to implement (shared equally with trustee/employer conflicts).
 
Perhaps the speed of implementation therefore accounts for the lead article of the three that I’ve put under the spotlight. See:
